Sarah Laubmeier DVM

Sarah Laubmeier DVM

Dr. Laubmeier knew from an early age that her calling was to become a veterinarian. Her love of animals began during visits to her great aunt and uncle’s farm where she enjoyed feeding calves and playing with barn cats. She grew up in Wausau, WI and in high school she worked towards her dream of becoming a veterinarian by working at a boarding facility and job shadowing veterinarians in her hometown.

Dr. Laubmeier achieved her undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine both at the University of Wisconsin Madison.

As a veterinarian she spent the first 11 years of her career at a busy wellness and emergency clinic. She has a passion for connecting with families to find the right diagnostic and treatment course for their beloved pets. Dr. Laubmeier has sought additional training in ultrasonography and enjoys using this diagnostic tool in practice.

Later in her career she spent three years in biopharmaceutical sciences as a laboratory animal veterinarian. This experience provided her a unique perspective and broadened her medical capabilities. However, she missed the ability to connect with and educate pet parents, which brought her back to small animal medicine.
